Yesterday's Set

This week’s worship set was fu-un! We didn’t have a midweek rehearsal due to the fact that we were way overdue for a purely-social team gathering; but apparently it refreshed us, because worship was awesome!

We mixed some old with some new (no borrowed or blue):

Holy is the Lord (Tomlin) – D (my key for leading this one)

(Talked about how Jesus redeemed us and lifted our heads. We no longer have to hang our heads in shame, because he’s made us brand new…)

My Glory (Merchant Band) – A

(Ps. 84 – longing for the courts of God, to be in his presence forever, praising him. John 15 – Abide in me and I in you… We can have fellowship with God NOW)

Better is One Day (Matt Redman) – E

(The veil was torn in two. We now have direct access to God’s presence. Jesus made the way.) PRAYER

At the Cross (Hillsong) – E

After worship, Lyn Capps sang a gorgeous new arrangement of an old hymn: When I Survey. Wow. Pastor’s message was the final (for now) on The Gods Must Be Crazy. He addressed Islam. It was EXCELLENT.

Great Sunday!
